EQUIPMENT

The set up I use now is a custom Ludwig set with four squared size racks: 10×10 12×12 14×14 16×16 and a 20×20 floor tom. The bassdrum  is 26×18 and all shells are 6 ply maple with a chrome wrap. My snare of choice is the Pearl maple wood 5×14 free floater

tr913-95 I have always been a fan of Zildjain cymbals and  starting with the hi- hat which I use 15″ heavy rockers and working around the set above the hi-hat is a 16″ rock crash, 10″ splash, 19″ rock crash, 8″ splash 16″ bright crash, 20″ ping ride, 20″ china type and below that is my 17″   medium crash.

1008112110Other than the snare, floor tom, hi-hat and bass drum everything is supported by    Gibraltar’s memory clamp rack system, making for quicker easier set ups that are always prefect.

I always find myself coming back to Remo pinstripes on the toms. On the snare I like the Remo coated ambassador and I like Evans EQ3 on the bass drum. I really can’t find myself with a more comfortable double pedal than the Pearl eliminator and my hi-hat of choice is the DW5000 with pivoting legs.  I also like promark 5B oak with nylon tips for a comfortable feel.  And what set up would not be complete without a set of quality cases by Tuxedo.

Last but not least I also have the Tascam DR40 home recording system. It’s a great tool that allows me to work with, record my parts, mix those parts in and send them across the miles. Excellent for writing songs long distance.

So that’s about it for the equipment!   Thanks so much for checking it out.
